These are (in red) the countries in Europe where abortus is still a crime: Poland, Lietchenstein, Rep. of Ireland, Cyprus, Malta and Portugal.
For me, and i hope most of portuguese people this is something to be ashame of. Next sunday, 11th february, portuguese citizens will have the opportunity to make their country more free, modern, and less hypocrisy in the portuguese society. There is going to happen a referedum.
I truly hope that, now, things will change, and abortus will not be forbiden anymore.

Autismo não, realismo. Nem que fosse por depois levares com o contra-argumento da abolição da pena de morte que é demolidor.
E comparar isto ao 25 de Abril de facto é mesmo ridículo. Isto não tem nada a ver com os mais importantes direitos, liberdades e garantias. É pura e simplesmente uma questão de justiça e de saúde pública.

In reality, both pro-choice and pro-life are too simplistic to encompass the full complexity of the debate. A person may be personally uncomfortable with, and morally opposed to, abortion (thus being pro-life) while believing the option of abortion should remain legal (thus being pro-choice as well).
